124. No proceeding for an offence under this Act may be commenced in any court more than 2 years after the facts on which the proceeding is based first come to the director's knowledge.

Policy Interpretation

The time limit for initiating proceedings for offences under this Act is 2 years.

The time limit begins on the date the facts on which the proceeding is based come to the attention of the person conducting the investigation.
