The Workers' Advisers Office (WAO) is a branch of the Ministry of Labour, Citizens' Services and Open Government, operating independently of WorkSafeBC. The WAO provides workers, their dependants and other stakeholders with independent advice, assistance, representation, training and mentoring with respect to workers' compensation issues.

Upon submitting your Pre-Inquiry, you will be contacted by a WAO staff member within three business days to book an appointment. Appointments are scheduled roughly three weeks after the date you receive your call back.
