This section explains when the director may provide information on contraventions, complaints and investigations relating to a person named in the request.
Searching of records
This section is used for due diligence searches when businesses are being sold. The director will provide information relating to complaints or investigations under the Act upon receipt of a written request which is accompanied by a fee of $35.
In accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, the disclosure must be authorized by the person named in the request.
